1981 TR8 I have owned this car for a year and just do not use it. However I have had extensive work done by Woody Cooper of the Wedge Shop including:Braided brake lines, Front wheel bearings, New coated headers, New GM alternator, New plug wires, Petronic distributor, New bushings as needed, New intake, Offenhauser valve covers, All new fluids, Replaced rear end with 3:45, Holly carb, All new dash wiring, New plugs and full tune upI have all the records back to 1985. The exterior has a 4 out of 10 paint job (10 being the best) that I have managed to get looking OK. The interior is in great shape. All instruments work, top in good shape (no tears), brand new tires and real Pannasport wheels that are in great shape. Stainless steel exhaust. The body has minor rust - one spot on the passenger side rear wheel arch, few small bubbles where the rear fenders meet the lower black panel, bottom of passenger door ( I have a replacement door that goes with the car) and one dime size spot on driver side floor. All theses spots have been treated with POR 15 and have been there a long time. Previous owner painted inside of trunk and part of engine bay. This is a great car and a cheap way to have fun, With the exception of paint it is all there. Rhode Island only requires a BOS for cars over 25 years old--I have valid RI registration and previous Massachusetts title--there are no liens on this car. I offer no warranties or quarantees of any kind. Would suggest test drive or third party inspection--I will make sure to accommodate any such requests.
