Vehicle Detail

Although I have really enjoyed driving this car for the past few years (150K to 172K, I think I'm the 3rd owner). It is time for somebody else enjoy it. I am in need of 4wheel-drive now and with studded snows this car really goes in the snow/ice but just not good enough for my new steep driveway. I have taken out the veg kit which I put about 15K mi on with. All oil was filtered to below 1 micron and I must mention that I never had a problem running on veg. I did occasionally run 100% biodiesel as well. I put a frost heater in it last fall and that really helped with warming up the veg for a morning commute. My old commute was 6mi to work which would warm the veg up at about mile 4. I would have to flush the system at mile 6 so I didn't run the veg in the winter unless I was going on a longer trip. The car will start at -15F without the frost heater but all it takes is 1.5 - 2hrs (30 cents) with it on a really cold morning and I was on my way with heat and defrosted windshield! I do have a full set of snowflake rims and tires (2 are studded) that go with the car (not pictured except the one in the trunk). Over that past few years I have installed: Billstein medium performance ($500) struts front and rear. New master cylinder, water pump, power steering pump, thermostat, bottom radiator hose, calipers front and rear with new pads and rotors. New emergency brake cables and sleeves going to the e-brake lever. New headlights, ICON wiper blades, ball joints, front wheel bearings, and tie rod ends. Fuel economy has been a solid high 30's to mid 40's depending on the terrain. Here in VT the in town traffic mileage has been about 38. I do get mid 40's on longer highway commutes. The previous owner put a new head, timing belt, gasket set, tensioner at about 140K so there should be at least 60K of driving before a new belt. I have a new belt and tensioner that I was going to put in when I changed the water pump but saw that there was no need. The windshield does leak a little on heavier down-pours. All other glass is fine and all the electric windows work. Cruise control is working great but the A/C needs to be charged. As you can see in the pictures the cosmetic issues with the paint and some rust. It hasn't gotten any worse since I have been driving it and I have always washed the salt off whenever I got a chance. The clearcoat has "Tour de Sol" in it from when it was pace car in the early 2000's front and rear. If your looking for a cosmetically perfect exterior this is probably not the car for you. However, if you are looking for a true "Armageddon" machine this may do you nicely. The car runs and drives great and can be driven away to anywhere really. There is a small antifreeze leak in the top connecting hose to the cylinder head but it doesn't leak a lot. There is also some drips from oil, but no puddles. I just changed the oil with Rotella 10w-30 diesel grade for the summer. There is no headliner. I encourage you to stop by if your in the central Vermont area and check it out. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability and please know that this is a used car and I while I do try to give the good and bad I cannot possibly know every detail of every component. I will say that I haven't had any electrical issues and everything seems to work fine unless noted previously. If you are not planning on buying the car please don't bid. I will report and non-paying bidders without hesitation as I consider myself a very trustworthy person and ebayer. There is a $500 paypal deposit required at bid end and complete payment is needed within 7 days. Your choice of payment, but I would need to clear any checks before I sign the title over.
