Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 66 GTO that was a very high optioned car. This project is being sold as-is due to too many other projects to work on. This car deserves to be restored due to the unique options that were inlcuded in its build. The original motor, trans and most of the A/C equipment are long gone. The car needs new front floor pans, Trunk pan, console, bumpers, front and rear windows, side glass, and front fender wells. I had stripped off the surface rust and primmed it to protect it from further rust. I had planned to replace the rear tail light panel, but it could be repaired if you choose to take that route. See the pictures for the overall condition of the project. Listed below are the PHS documented options included in this car: - 389 4 barrel, 4 speed, A/C, Cordova top, bucket seats, console, power rear mounted radio antenna, transitorized ignition system, power steering, Verba-phonic rear speaker, lamps (trunk, glove box, roof rail & reading, courtesy, ash tray & lighter, paring brake, underhood), Rally gauge package, quick ratio steering, custom seat belts, custom sport steering wheel). The rear axle gear ratio is 3.23 safety track. The car appears to have the original differential. The car comes with the chrome trim as seen in the pictures, the module for the transitorized ignition, radio reverb module and switch, rear power antenna with up/down switch, plus what is seen in the pictures. I've got a pair of 66 front bucket seats that will go with the car. One has been stripped and refinished. The other and rear seat have been stripped, but need to be refinished. I have a title for this car in my name that can be transferred to the new owner at the conclusion of the auction. I have a low reserve on this car, so please bid to win. Again, this car deserves to be restored and would be worth it due to the unique options it has. Payment will be cash on delivery. If you have any questions, please call Dennis at (214) 632-0422.
