I will describe to the best of my ability every detail so you know what I have here. I think the value of this car as a summer driver will beat any car out there. It originates from the southern east coast, and appears to have spent most of its years there. It was sold and registered in NY State in my area just a few years ago. It was recently traded in at a local new car dealer. It has a clean history with apparentlty 3-4 owners.The condition of the this collectable car reflect a well maintained - garage kept - well cared for automobile. You will find it mechanically sound - driving strong and straight down the road. You will find a nice exterior with no rust and has shiney original paint without body problems. You will find a clean and comfortable interior that appears original. You will also find two tops with this vehicle. The hard top removes, and the soft top remains hidden in the rear compartment and goes up and down easily. The hard top is excellent. And so is the soft top. There are no tears, rips, or stains. It is in excellent condition. This is an awesome car and will make any driving enthusiest a great summer car. It is classy and sporty and of course luxury too. If you're looking for a quality classic summer or weekend automobile this could be the one for you. When compared to others this should be quite the value. I answer all questions promptly. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION REPORT (FULL DISCLOSURE) MECHANICAL & PERFORMANCE: I have test driven this car at least 50 miles and found it to drive excellent at all speeds. It starts right up and idles smoothly. The 3.8L v-8 sounds great. It performs strong at all speeds with no hesitation or problems. The engine cmpartment is clean and in order. There are no leaks or odors. No oil burning or smoking. The transmission shifts properly and smoothly at all speeds. The car drives straight down with no pulling. Nice smooth ride. It is a fun ride - especially with the top down. It corners well and is very fast. Plenty of get up. I would drive this car anywhere. It has some miles on it but it is obvious that it has been well cared for from the start. The tires are good. The brakes feel great. The exhaust is quiet, and the suspension feels tight. I am impressed and I think the buyer will be too. EXTERIOR APPEARANCE: Its a bit difficult to rate the appearance of a classic car like this one as I normally deal in normal used cars. But I can tell you this classic is a head turner. It appeals to Mercedes buffs, convertible buffs and sports car buffs. And it looks awesome! Of course its not perfect but very nice indeed. The paint shines nicely. It looks all or mostly original. The chrome trim is close to perfect with no pitting. There is no rust on the exterior of this car. There are no noticable dings, although there may be a very small one or too. But I didn't notice any. There are a few small paint chips. I only noticed a couple small ones, but please assume you may find a couple more. There are some areas where the paint is faded a bit - possibly from age or a bit of over buffing. There are no dents or body problems. I checked under the carpets and the floors appear 100% solid. The hard top is excellent and so is the soft top. The hard top removes and the soft top remains on the car. All the trim looks good. The only down grade to the exterior of this car are the factory rims. I photographed close ups and you can see that they could use some refinishing. They look very nice from a distance but up close you can see the imperfections. I believe the buyer will be as impressed as I am with the look of this car. Your neighbors will be very jealous. INTERIOR & COMFORT: The interior is in excellent shape for the model year. The dash is mostly excellent with 2 small hairline cracks. The dash still shines nicely and is no way ugly or worn out. The trim looks excellent. There is some wear on the center console. But good shape for the age of the car. The seats are excellent. The carpet looks good. The floors are solid. The power windows work properly. I believe its original with black trim, brown carpets and green carpet trim. The cruise works. It has a nice aftermarket CD Stereo which works fine. It has good floor mats too. It is clean and comfortable. There are no tears or rips anywhere in this car. The driver's sun visor is missing. The A/c Blows cool at times and sometimes warm. The power antenna was replaced with a stationary one. I have removed the hardtop and put it back on. I have had the soft top up and down. It comes with the original owner's manual and has some early service records from the eightires and nineties when it was in the south. Everything works out well. Overall, I believe this vehicle is in excellent condition from exterior to interior to mechanical. Like I said it is a head turner. Everybody loves this car.
