Vehicle Detail
1952 Mercedes Benz 220. 6 cyl, 3 spd 60k original This car is a sold on a bill of sale only. The overall condition of the car is very good to excellent. looks to have spent most of it's life stored inside. The body is solid, no signs of rusted threw areas, it has some small rust areas but mostly surface rust, a little in the floors and roof area, you can clearly see both in the pictures. The rest of the body is in great shape and virtually rust free. There are a few small dents and dings that look to be from storage and moving the car around, most of the damage is on the fenders, the biggest on the left front fender. Missing: is most of the interior (seats, carpet, door panels). And most of the exterior bright-work, (bumpers, glass headlight covers). The gauges are all there and look to have always stayed dry and are in good restorable condition. The window regulators, all the glass and chrome trim around the glass is there. 3 of the 4 interior and exterior door handles are there. The engine turns over freely, cylinders are soaking in Marvel Mystery oil, not sure when it last ran. I think the engine will run but have not started it yet, It needs a set of points the old ones are burnt. I was told that the 60k milage on the odometer is accurate and that the engine runs good. I looked under the car and the chassis and running gear all look great complete and in good condition, independent rear suspension. no evidence of past rust or collision repairs. I have tried to give an accurate description of this car and will gladly answer any questions, so please if you have questions ask before bidding. Thank You
