** Video Link Below **If you are looking for a solid, well cared for Volkswagen Camper, here you go!! It is very clean inside and out. The details.... This Westfalia Camper has a clear unblemished title and is tagged current until August of 2013. The van runs very well and is ready for your next adventure. The engine was rebuilt in 2006 and we have all of the paperwork on the rebuild. Since then, it has had 4,500 miles put on. The engine not only sounds good but runs down the road very well. The rear bumper has a hitch for bike rack carrier. The Vanagon is in great shape, but not in perfect shape. The paint job is good, shows no rust, but has been touched up in some areas. There are some minor dents and dings, but nothing that stands out. The front windshield has two small cracks (front bottom left), but are below the line of sight. The stereo plays from your ipod or smart phone and sounds good (no am/fm or cd). The canvas is in great shape and has been replaced a few years back. It does have one area that has been repaired (shown in the photo). The tires are in pretty good shape and so is the spare. The appliances are functional, though we never used this camper for cooking. (We would just throw a cooler in and go.) The seats in the bottom fold down into a full size bed and the bed that folds out up top is a full size as well. The van came with a/c, but it is not working. We use a Bon Aire swamp cooler that was an add on to the "Westys" w/o A/C. (if you haven't seen the Bon Aire swamp cooler, look them up! Very cool and work well) We are going to include the swamp cooler in the sale of this awesome van, it works very well and is especially cool in dryer climates. It shows the engine and you can hear it start and idle and takes a walk around of the van and inside as well including the canopy. Folks have also been asking for photos of the undercarriage of the rig, I will have them posted asap. The last picture I have posted, is of the rear screen and it is new, I should have snapped it in for the photos, but I just showed it hanging over the gate. I originally thought it was in '06 but it was in '04, it came from GEX International in Boonville, AR. The cost was $1,499, at that time the flywheel was installed and resurfaced as well. The paperwork will be in the van, upon pick up.
