This is an original California Baja Bug Rag-top. It runs very well and has new top and the seat have been recently redone. The interior is in good shape. It shows 49213 miles one it but believe is 149,213 miles however I'm not too sure. Car must be picked up in Springville CA and buyer is responsible for picking up arrangements. Believe motor is 1972 or later model. Rag-Top was only made for 10 years form 1953-63. No Current tags on it last time it was tagged was in 2004. For those of you who may own a surf shop can you imagine in the early '70's driving north on the pacific coast Hwy 1 and driving through Half Moon Bay CA and all you would see is surfers all along the way, you would probably see one or more of these beetle bugs parked along the Hwy. It would probably have 2 or 3 surf boards on the roof rack on top, then on the doors and hood you would see wet suits drying and you may also see a blond chic with a nice tan in a bikini cleaning her board.- - Anybody that owns a surf shop imagine this image recreated in front of your shop as a crowd pleaser.
