2007 MILES ZX40S Prototype - 96 Volt “Diluciano” Edition for sale This near new all electric vehicle was modified in Ohio from 72 to 96 volts by famed automotive electrical engineer Mark Diluciano. It has a DC motor, in pristine condition. This modification was done as a company prototype for export, the power-train includes ultra capacitors that produce 110 volts of quick energy to preserve the battery system and the Diluciano speed field weeking controll that increases the cars performance. The vehicle also known as a “50/50” edition goes 50 mph with a range of apr. 50 miles. Seller was in charge of export sales for MILES and included with the vehicle are numerous up grades , new radio cd player, heated seats. The batteries are sealed maintenance free AGM that are made in Mexico. Overnight vehicle charging is done through a standard 110 volt 20 amp household outlet.If you do not know about MILES it is a Westlake Village company formally part of CODA Automotive and based in Santa Monica. SInce 2005 they have imported Chinese made electric vehicles as NEVs. Parts are readily available from the company through their website www.milesev.com. This vehicle will operate at speeds up to 60 mph and a range of at least 40 miles depending on driving habits.
