This is a No Reserve auction Highest bidder win's this classic. Please see my all custom 1967 Vw with No Reserve as well (My car's must go..) This Volkswagon Beetle/Bug was bought from a dealer by a lady brand new in 1965 at Carl R. Carlsen in San Francisco Ca. Then sold to the gentlemen I bought it from 18 years ago. His intention was to restore, it but the car sat in his drive way and garage all through out the years (other than the movie industry renting and towing it to the sets when needed). It's very hard to find an unmolested all original German Vw's (I know cause I restore them). Everything on this Vw is factory German original other than the seat cover's. This one is my own personal daily driver and for some reason whether the color,condition or originality..it gets ALOT of attention. (which sort of explains why the movie industry was renting it every so often). Hard to sacrifice a rare original find that I will probably never come across again, but my lease for my warehose/shop will be ending soon so I must sell all my car's. This Bug deserves to be restored to factory original considering its condition. 1965 1200cc 6volt engine is rebuilt. One rust spot in the common battery tray area. Fly in and drive it back home ANYWHERE in the nation... Registration is due 8/18/12 for the amount of $82.00 I'm going to regret selling this car and I know it. No Reserve the car must go.. Also I had bought new dropped spindles and new German made King Pin set (which is always good to replace when installing new spindles) and four new tires mounted on rims that are laying around that I never installed.
