Vehicle Detail

I can't beleive I'm doing this but all my car's must go do to my warehouse/shop lease ending. This is a No Reserve auction and the highest bidder will own this one of a kind classic. I have a file of receipts for this car and I know I will be taking a loss. So if you know of anyone looking for a unbelievable deal on a custom made VW please tell them about this auction. It will be on a ten day auction in hope's of finding the right buyer or collector. Again this is a NO Reserve auction. The car will go to the highest bidder. About the car... This car was a participant in Bug-in-22 in 1979 and has the badge in the trunk. I purchased it from the gentlemen who bought it from that show in 1979. The car was rarely driven and was stored in his garage for over 32 years. The bodywork, custom dash, welding of the fenders (bead removal) and louvers were all done in the late 70's so the car was an all original accident free car to begin with. So only the paint had faded over the year's. The car has been painted Inferno Orange three stage metallic pearl. Very unique color that changes under certain lighting do to the coutures of the bug and get's alot of attention at shows and on the road. The interior is all new velour and vinyl, custom made low seat's. Removable face Pioneer cd player with I-pod connection. Two 6x9 speakers in back, two 5 1/2 's in front Rockford Fosgate amp in front and 10" Sub woofer. Carpet, Door panels, window cranks, five panel mirror, steering wheel etc..All new. Only thing kept was the Hard to find VDO gauges and the Hurst short shifter. On the outside everything is new as well. The headlight housings are original German so they were replated along with the bullet turn signals. Headlight's are Xeon. All new front disk brakes, new rear drums, shocks, bushing's tires and wheel's. Engine is a 2332cc stroker ported polished heads with all the go fast goodies. Approxamatly 210 hp less than 500 miles. The car is Very Fast. So pretty much everything on the car is New other than the transmission which I decided to keep stock. This bug only goes out to get showen or a Sunday morning crusie. Sit's in the corner of my warehouse most of the time so it has less than 500 miles on it. Thank you for looking..Please ask any and all questions. Please tell a friend that would be interested..Again there is No Reserve which is very scary for me but my car must sell. If you are looking for an all original German bug to restore or drive as is..Please take a look at my other 1965 VW bug that is also getting auctioned without Reserve price.
