Vehicle Detail
This is a very clean and solid 1974 Ford Bronco that would make an excellant candidate for a full restoration or a nice driver with a little bit of TLC. I cannot find any signs of rust on the vehicle, but I will not guarantee that there isnt something somewhere on the truck if you look it over completely. The only noteable body repairs that will need to be done a filling a few small drill holes behind the rear wheels and two holes in the hood for aftermarket hood pins. The truck does have a Wild Horses lift kit with front double shock kit and nice Eagle alloy wheels with Big O 33" tires that are in great shape. The Bronco does have aftermarket bumpers with built in storage compartments as well. I do not know if the drivetrain is original. The engine starts right up and does not smoke with the exception of minor black smoke due to the carb being a llittle on the rich side and will need to be tweaked. I would reccomend new plugs being installed as well due to the rich fuel condition. The brakes are squishy but do work. The transmission engages and shifts nicely but does appear to be seaping from the pan gasket. The saddle tanks have been disconnected and is plumbed directly into the main tank. The coolant system works well and does not appear to have any leaks. This Bronco does have power steering and works well without any noise or visible leaks. The transfer case shifts and operates smoothly as well. The seats and roll bar are not currently bolted to the floor. The windshield does have a crack on the passenger side but does appear to have been sealed. I was going to have the tub sprayed with Line-X, but decided against so that the buyer could see how clean and solid the original floorpan is. I do also have an original swing away spare tire mount that needs to be installed that will be included with the Bronco. All of the lights and turn signals are in good working condition as well as the interior door lights. The radio works intermittantly, but the dash has not been cut for a Cd player. I cannot guarantee the correct mileage on the Bronco, but I do have a clear NM title that is in my name. I am open to trades or partial trades: cars, trucks, boats, bikes, etc. Please e-mail with any further questions or call me @ (575) 644-7761.
