The car has been driven under 2000 miles since a full rebuild on original motor and rare slim jim transmission. Originally a 389 2 barrel carburetor. bored .30 over- Converted to a 1962 edlebrock aluminum intake with edlbrock 650 carberator. morosso red anodized valve covers. Original cast iron headers-jet hot coating-custom fabricated duel exaust with 2 1/2 pipes with twin v force mufflers. Manual chrome fuel pump with back up electric fuel pump, as well as back up electric fans hooked up to duel battery set up (charged by chrome 140 amp one wire alt). Aluminum 4 core after market radiator. points distributor upgraded to HEI ignition system. New springs and new shocks all around. The frame and floors are rust free. All original and straight Chrome. Brand new perfect head light bezzles (some minor pitting on rear bezzles), bumpers are arrow strait- no pitting and look good - but re-chroming would just make them pop! Trunk is in good condition. Brand new gas tank. There are a few small tears on the seams only of the front seat (easily repairable, and are currently under a seat cover) - back seat looks like new. Original radio operational. There is a new cd player located in glove box (along with the back up fan switch described above). Also includes a back-up electric fuel pump (to prevent vapor lock). The paint shows great and is only 2 years old - only a few minor blemishes behind the bumper (can be only be seen close-up). Top and rear window are only 2 years old, no tears, operates correctly. All glass perfect except small triangle on passenger side has one minor crack. Car is a crowd pleaser - drawing tons of attention, an amazing summer rod. A VERY RARE year and model ... with very little work it could be restored back to it's original condition (many original parts included)!! Blue Book (in #2 Condition) valued up to $40,000. As a frame off restoration, the sky's the limit at a big auction.
