This is a 1981 diesel Volkswagen Rabbit pickup that runs and drives very well, but has an issue with rust. It is rusted underneath on the body, and also the shock towers are rusted out. I tried to take pictures of the worst of the rust, although it was difficult to get a good picture of the underside. The engine starts right up and runs nicely, and the 5-speed transmission shifts well. It has a fiberglass topper with a large crack in the plexiglass window. This would make a good project or parts vehicle. It can stay here for up to 6 weeks after auction ends. For payment, I would like $250 down through PayPal and the balance can be check, cash or wire transfer. If it is a personal check, it will need to clear before shipping. The buyer must arrange shipping.
