Vehicle Detail

This is my personal vehicle, and I am the second owner. I have partial service records dating to 1990 from the previous owner and complete service records during my ownership. I had a new top fitted about a year ago, in the correct German Sonnendeck fabric. The tires are Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 N0 (Porsche approved) with about 6000 miles on them. I also replaced the battery with a unit from the Porsche dealer less than 2 years ago. All service and maintenance are up to date, and the 55000 mile service was just done. The car runs and drives great. I only put about 3000 miles a year on the car since I have owned her, but many of the miles are on the highway. There aren't many curvy roads in Florida to really test the car's handling, but I do enjoy getting up on the highway and taking a road trip. I've never raced or tracked this car at all. I have lavished attention and pampered the car while at the same time still driving and enjoying the car. The stereo works great but I rarely use it, I prefer to listen to the sound of the engine. The air-conditioning was converted to the newer R-134 refrigerant by the previous owner. The A/C blows cold and the 'climate control' system operates as it should. Even at its best though, its not much of a match for the heat and humidity of a Florida summer. During this time of year, I tend to drive the car in the morning or evening/night time and the a/c can keep up fine then. The rest of the year its no problem at all. Of course you could just put the top down and not worry about the A/C! The heater works great too. There are a few scratches in the paint here and there, though they don't take away from the beauty of the car. There are no rips or tears in the seats or dash. I also replaced the interior floor mats recently. Everyone that sees the car comments on how pristine it is. It is stock and un-molested with no hoopty modifications. The car is a beautiful driver for someone who wants to actually use their vehicle.
