1968 Mercury Cougar, has been driven daily, runs as great as it looks. 289 v8, automatic transmission, tilt wheel, american racing rims, goodrich tires ( lots of tread ), new big 3row radiator, new heater core, good used heater core box, new belts, hoses, new battery, new dual exhaust, new sending unit in gas tank, (gauges all work),rebuilt carb 2bbl, refurbished interior, new carpet, new headliner, new windshield, area around both glass is very solid, completely new brake system (four wheel drum non power assist ). The Cougar was painted with base coat/ clear coat. There were some dent repairs done to the rear quarters but they were rust free ( you can see the repairs from the pictures of inside quarters/ inside trunk). I will send you extra pictures if you require more extensive look at the car. I have the stock rims and hub caps for this car. This is a California car, it is rock solid, not a rot / not a rust bucket or hidden rust spots. No suprises here. You will not find a better one anywhere at this price. Selling because have to finish 1969 rs/ss camaro 396 and 1972 camaro and 1989 mustang. Wifie says its got to go. Items that need attention, tail lights work, sequentials do not, typical steering slave cylinder drip. You can get in this car and drive it cross country. You arrange for pick up, if you want to fly/ride in and drive car home, I will pick you up at airport / bus station.
