Up for sale is a very rare vintage 1962 Saab bull nose 96 with an 850cc 3 cylinder 2 stroke motor. The car starts, runs, and drives fine, but only has 1,2, and reverse gears. I can get it in to 3 and 4 when the trany is out of the car but can't find them when I install it. Needs to have the rear motor mount looked at, shift linkage repaired or adjusted, or steering colum replaced? This car would need a complete restoration or would be a great doner car. It is very complete and has a lot of hard to find parts. The good: runs, has WI plates, all hoses and clamps have been replaced, has 1 year old battery, has great tires, has had the master cylinder overhauled and was re sleived with ss. Has all new wheel cylinders (6). Has new shocks, has new ss brake lines, has new plugs, I all so have factory seat covers for the rear seat, Has Monte Carlo Door panels and rear panels. Fan works, Wippers work but won't park. most lights work. Waterpump was overhauled 4 years ago. The bad: Needs new windshield, needs roof replaced, floor is rusted out. Head liner is bad, needs 1 tail light, has some dents and passangers door has been repaired, hood is from an other car and doesn't fit just right. Dash lights don't work, brakes need to be blead. No 3 or 4 gear? Has aftermarket starter switch. I do have alot of part that may go with the car if I get the right price. The only reason I'm selling this car is that I have become very sick and can no longer do repairs on it, and my doctor bills are making it so I have to sell off any thing I have. My lose is your gain. Buyer must put $100.00 down with in 1 day and is not refundable. This car can not be driven home it will only go about 20 mph at best. Must be trailer. Shipping is up to buyer. Car has had the hood replaced, the dash is out of a newer 96 as is the trany and brake master cylinder. I have no idea when this was done, as it was this way when I got it.
