Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1953 F-100. I have owned this truck for about 6 years. Prior to this my Grandfather had it. He bought it in the mid 80s when it was restored. A custom dual exhaust was also installed sometime in the 90s. It still has the original flathead V8 239 ci motor and 3-on-the-tree transmission. It runs and is driven every few weeks. If you're looking for a $30,000 show truck that has been trailered to car shows please move on to the next auction. Paint has a few nicks and imperfections (painted in the 80s). This is solid 60 year old piece of Americana that can be driven and enjoyed from day one. My to do list on this truck would have include the following: 1. Replace and/or repair the right side exhaust manifold as there is a small crack (shown in pictures) 2. Rebuild and/or replace the brake master cylinder to repair a small brake fluid leak Due to the recent birth of our first child last Saturday, these projects have been delayed and I have decided to sell the truck. I do have a clean title. Mileage is unknown. The speedometer, fuel gauge, battery indicator, and oil pressure gauge all work, however the odometer and temp gauge do not and have not worked since the truck's been in the family. Purchaser will recieve original owner's manual and full shop (service) manual. Pictures show truck with and without the hubcaps which I currently have off.
