I wanted to build this a truck with great patina that was consistant, and very mechancially sound. Here is what I came up with. Truck has some new parts but tried to use as many originals as I could. The hydraulic brake system I totally went through because the vehicle sat for 40+ years. Brakes now work excellent. Fuel tank I replaced as well. Also the electric fuel pump and sending unit are new. Rebuilt the the 94 carb and she runs great. This motor and gear box actually came out of one of my other cars and are both very strong. The 21 stud flatty starts imediately with the 8 volt battery and no smoke. Motor has great oil pressure. Trans shifts great and stays in gear. Body is all original all ford steel. Has couple rust spots but overall very solid. Rockers and 2 stake pockets need repair from rust. Thats really about it for rust. The corners and back are pretty solid. There is no door glass but has regulators. Frame is very solid and straight with no rot or rust out in the usuall areas. Some very minor flaking in one small area but nothing that warrants a patch.let me know if you need adtional pics of any area. I took a few leafs out of the front and back to get the ride height I wanted. Rims are 16in ford with new 700s on the back and good 600s on the front. Powder coated red and look great. Complete interior with all the correct pieces and freshly covered original seat. I used a 40 column and wheel with original box. Very tight steers nice. New windshield glass in original frame. New 2in exhaust out the back with glass packs sounds great. All new wiring for 6 volt with working lights and 8 volt battery. Truck is titled as 35 but if its an issue can switch to 36.
