Vehicle Detail

This gorgeous 2+2 is just finishing a complete restoration. It will be completed in 10 days. The car was originally delivered to Superior Motors in Orangeburg, South Carolina. It has always lived in the rust free south. Yenko-Wildfire Motorsports was commissioned to do a thorough refreshtoration including paint, underhood and underneath. As things progressed, the client wanted improvements or what we call "value added" assets included in the project. The car was born with a 421/338hp engine. We ran across an ultra-rare DATE CORRECT 421/376 TRIPOWER that the client just had to have. $14,000 later, we added the engine, complete with the correct carbs and intake. While progressing through the project, it was decided that the rarest and most striking color combination would be the Black exterior with a Parchment interior and top. Just a few of the value added offerings include the front grilles, emblems, interior, top, 8 lug wheels, factory correct 855/14 tires, and a $3,500 NOS rear fascia. $3,100 was spent on chrome plating alone. This description would rival WAR AND PEACE in length, so suffice to say, we have over $133,000 in actual receipts. PHS documentation, window sticker, pictoral history and receipts go with the car. The car is nice! We also purchased a 1965 Catalina station wagon and removed the factory A/C. We have everything installed in the 2 + 2. Tweaking is currently underway and I'm told we will have it working, but no guarantees on this. Its all there, so bid accordingly. Since the car was originally supposed to be just a good restoration, the body was removed and stripped. The chassis was chip coated as best we could get at. The engine, and underhood were all done nicely. We can't call it rotisserie. We can call it body-off. We can call it ground up. Just being as honest as I know how. In the 650+ cars we have done, this one easily hits the top 20. Rare and beautiful. I am happy to field questions or show the car during the bidding. Our reserve is under book and way less than our investment. The clients inability to fund his entire project is his loss and helps the bidders immensely. [Being a very ethical man, he conceded the car and title to settle the account.] Thanks for bidding.
