My family purchased this car a few years ago from a private party. It belonged to a elderly husband and wife. They purchased the car new and it was garage keeped all that time. When the car went on a trip, a note was made in a note pad. I have the original window sticker and purchase agreement. When the husband died, the grandson sold the car for his grandmother and that is how we got it. We are the second owner. We have put about 2,000 miles on the car. Our family calls the car Gurlos after a beautiful town in Austria. I have included several pictures for your inspection. I believe they tell the story. I didn't get a close-up of the window rubber but it is perfect. This car has been in storage in my garage since I have owned it and it is air conditioned and heated. It is a car we take out for our date nights. Everything works on the car and would make a great collectors car. I would hate to see it pressed into service after it has been taken care of as it has been. I suspect that there is not another as good in the country. It gets 30 miles per gallon and was made when it was mandated to drive 55. The speedo has it marked as such. I am giving you angles of the car to look for body damage. I have looked this car over and over and I would say this car is truly car is accident free after very very close inspection. The paint is all original as far as I can tell. It is as close to perfect as you are going to get on a 30 year old car. The interior is excellent and I think the pictures will show you that. If you need a particular picture that I am not showing let me know and I will post it or send it to you. It is hard to put a value on a car such as this and that is why we are putting it up for auction. Email me with questions before you bid so that you have zero questions about the car. I was not disappointed in the car and you will not be either. I finally took a couple more pictures and posted them to show the flaws. One is the golve door has some glue on it where the previous owner used some cement to fix the wood trim. If you are very careful, I think you can get it off. I have not taken the time because it doesnt make any difference to me. I called today to see if the wood is available in case you can't get the glue off. The answer is yes. I know I can get it off and so can you. I can tell you it is not a big deal at all. I just mention it so I do not have to answer any questions about anything. I have been asked if the car has any rust. The answer is no none noda. It does not even have the inkling of rust, zero. Look at the rubber around the windows. It is perfect. The glass is all the original glass including the windshield. It has Zero chips in it. The value in the books is not what this car is all about. I have been watching ebay for a long time and the local news papers and other car collector guides. This is the only car I have ever seen in this no excuss condition It is close to perfect. Do not ask for my reserve price please, give me that respect. I can't tell you more about it because you can't inprove on the car. The spare has never been on the road and it has the original spare.
