Very original 1978 Trans Am in Solar Gold. Is a Y88 car, with ws6 wheels. It has the original engine - carburator- vaccum lines, manifolds, Y-pipe, catalytic converter, transmission, hi-way gear posi. Stock uncut shaker scoop. Original solar gold T-Tops, correct pin striping. The factory R-12 A/C still works. The car runs and drives the way it sits though one caliper was hanging up this spring. The seats are all close to perfect. The carpet is shot. Headliner and dash have been amaturishly "redone". Undercariage is very solid. Trunk has some rust in the center. Car was repainted probably 15 years ago. The body is very solid for the year. LF fender appears to have some filler on the bottom coming through, and has a horrible, but era correct alarm lock afixed to it. I look at these cars all the time on ebay, and see the worst abominations listed as second owner originals...bla bla bla... this car has the y88 gold bird on the shifter, not the red one. the gold "milled" dash, the gold t-tops, steering wheel.... I have included for the car, high quality correct complete door panels, an NOS front center spoiler, an original pontiac left front flare, a better, but not show quality steering wheel with the center that has the y88 gold bird in it. Also have two correct dual outlet chrome exhaust tips. I've only had the car about five years, had planned to restore it, sold my garage and dont have the facilities, time or cash to do it correct.
