Click this link for 126 pictures of every angle of the car. http://s1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/mtdubvee/ You are bidding on a very nice and solid 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S Code. The car was an original 390 4 speed car and still is. The motor and transmission have both been newly rebuilt and neither have been ran since picked up from the machine shop and transmission shop. The VIN tag on the fender apron, and the tag on the driver’s door match the Vin on the title. Engine- Newly rebuilt. Over $3500.00 spent on the engine. Standard bore 390 with all new main, rod, and cam bearings. New Mild street Camshaft, new freeze plugs. The heads have been reworked to 390 GT/428 head specs and have the 14bolt exhaust pattern. The heads have been decked, new bronze guides, valve job, and brand new NOS valves. The crankshaft is a fresh .10, .10 grind. It also has new pistons and rings. A 390 bellhousing and flywheel also go with the car. The engine was just completed in early May. A pair of C7AE-A heads I pulled off an original GT500 will go with the car. Has an Offenhuaser aluminum 4v intake, waterpump, and water pump and crank pulleys. The cobra valve covers are included with the buy it now, along with a Cobra air cleaner. Also comes with a cast iron S Code 4v intake. Transmission- Also newly rebuilt and has not been ran since the rebuild. It has all new bearings, seals, and synchronizers. The transmission was rebuilt in April. Has the short tail shaft with Hurst Shifter bracket on the rear. I have about $1300.00 in the transmission after the initial purchase and rebuild. Rearend- Ford 9 inch with drum brakes. 3.25 limited slip. Currently has conventional rear. Body- The car has all of its original sheetmetal. The car lived its life in Arizona, so the climate was very dry, which was very good for this car. I have cut out 4 sections in the floor that will need to be replaced. The sections are small, and I have new replacement pans that will go with the car. All the Frame rails are extremely solid front and rear. The rocker panels are very solid. The fender aprons and shock towers are also extremely solid. The fender aprons do have the notorious places on top of each side about the size of a 50 cent piece that is bubbling. The radiator support is nice and solid, and the firewall is nice and solid. The car has all its original sheetmetal, however over the years there have been dents and dings that were repaired over the years. The front lower exterior corner of each door has been repaired. The car is very solid, however it does need bodywork and paint. The hood is very solid structurally underneath. The firewall and radiator support are both nice and solid. Paint and primer are cracking in places. The bottom of the Cowl is solid on both sides!!!!!! Floor- The floor is overall very solid. There have been 4 places cut out that need to be repaired. Once section has been cut out of each foot area. Only the bad places were cut out so that the original sheetmetal could be kept in as much as possible. Two brand new replacement floor pans go with the car. Trunk-The trunk area is extremely solid. The trunk floor and trunk drop offs are nice and solid. The wheelhouses are also very solid. The trunk lid is also solid. The rear lip needs just a little attention, but it could easily be repaired. Wheels- Original pony style wheels. They have a little overspray on them, but they are solid and not bent, and will clean up very nice. Interior- The interior is overall in very good shape. The seats and seat foam is in good condition. The rear seat has a small area torn off on the top left. It has the fold down rear seat. The rear interior panels are in good shape, and are not cracked or have not been cut for speakers. The interior panels would need refinished. All glass is nice and intact. This car has the 6k tach gauges with the clock, a very nice 4 speed console that is not cracked or broken, and a very nice upper console with the map lights and stainless trim. All of the wiring is intact and in the car. Everything you see in the pictures plus a few small miscellaneous parts are included with the car. Below are the original Marti report details. Please feel free to email and ask anything about the car. I will promptly reply. I will help in shipping this car anywhere in the world. The car does not run at this time. If you are getting a shipping quote, the zip code the car is located in is 25801 Beckley, WV. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty. Please ask any questions and look at the pictures before bidding or buying. Feel free to inspect the car. Thanks for looking and don’t miss out on a great buy for a rare S code big block mustang.
