1992 ALFA ROMEO SPIDER VELOCE AIR CONTITIONED - ACTUAL MILEAGE 43,480 Up for sale is my beautiful Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I have owned the car for approximately four years. I purchased the vehicle from a young man in California. I have excellant documentation establishing the accuracy of the mileage on the car - service records, smog certificates, etc. As you may know this is the top-of-the-line Spider with all the equipment. And one of few available for sale today with air conditioning. The body of the car is excellant and has never had any rust. The paint is nice and the brightwork is clean and shiney. There are a couple of minor door dings on the side that are not very noticable. There is one scratch near the Pininfarina emblem on the passenger side that is about 4 inches long (see photo) and a 1 inch blemish on the front bumper. There is some scuffing on the right side rocker panel from my car cover being blown around in the wind. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate the paint and body a 9+ for the year of the car and in my opinion the car is extremely presentable "as is". You will be proud to be seen driving this car in it's present condition. I am very particular about the vehicles I own (kind of OCD) and meticulous about their service so I tend to over-emphasize their defects. This Spider is a beautiful car! The interior carries her original leather and faux suede seats with original carpeting throughout. The door panels are in excellant condition. Also included is a set of carpeted logo mats that are in good usable condition. The carpeting in the trunk is also very nice and the spare is original to the car. The car is equiped with a Nakamichi CD player with removable faceplate. This radio lights up red to match the factory instrumentation. There are 2 Boston Acoustic 6 X 9's in a box behind the seats that is covered with carpet. The speaker wiring could use some attention. Personally, I'd rather listen to the engine. There is no evidence that the vehicle has ever been smoked in as the lighter and ashtray are as new and there are no burn marks anywhere. I would rate the interior between an 8 - 9. I am downgrading it slightly because there is minor cracking on the dash from the extreme temperatures in Las Vegas. A new dash is $495 on Ebay. This Alfa received a brand new StayFast canvas top just 2 months ago at a cost of $800. The convertible boot cover is also present and in excellant condition. The engine purrs and the drive line performs as it should. The tires are Michelins that have over 80% tread remaining. The sidewalls do show slight cracking which is due to the extreme heat here. This is very common condition often appearing on tires after only 2 years. It's just the way things are in the desert. Obviously I have and would not replace them. I have owned three Alfa Spiders over the past 15 years. I have loved them all! I even had one with over 100000 miles and the car was very reliable. These are great cars and they are appreciating rapidly now that Alfa Romeo is coming back to the U.S. The new Alfa models will be over $200000. It will be very prestigious to own any Alfa in the future. These cars have long been admired throughout Europe as serious sports cars with gorgeous Ferrari-like styling.
