selling my 1973 triumph spitfire, this was found in a west texas warehouse where I was told it had been for 20+ years. after fluid changes and tune parts it fired right uo. no smoke no leaks. I replaced all rubber trim items, windshield, interior door panels, rear panel and carpets, has updated electrical harness and fuses, new switches, and bulbs, this gets rid of the LUCAS nightmare, has original starter and alternator which work great, All shocks are new as well as brakes, rear spring buttons are also new, Comes with full tonoue cover but not the convertible top or bows as these were stolen, has mazda miata seats which can use a recover but are comfortable as is.I believe the milage to be correct due to the condition of the engine and body,paint is good but a purist will respray.I installed a electric fan just to eliminate possible heat problems but haven't had any so far. this is a garage kept vehicle since I've owned it .tire are old but in good condition,all chrome is in great condition with no corosion or pitting. I have owned this car for the past 5 years and I will regret sellong it but its time to move on th the next project.07/08/2012 revision, upon further inspection I have fond some rust areas om the floor boards I hadn't seen prior to this listing, When I had the carpet kit installed I was not made aware of this , I sell this as an honest car and will not mislead potential buyers, I will lower the price and reserve to reflect this
