Up for auction is my 67 Barracuda fastback. Originally a 273 V8 auto now a 340 V8 with a 727 transmission and original rear end. This car has been in indoor storage for 30 years since I parked it to join the military in the early 80's! It's a time capsule and a great example of how we used to build our cars back then to run on the street including items like the big yellow Accel coil, Holley 750 dual feed carb, 8 quart oil pan, 3 core radiator, tranny cooler, mopar electronic ignition, mopar rally wheels and Sun tach! Original mileage is 92,550. The speedometer was replaced when I installed the 340 which only has 210 miles on it before it was parked. This car has been in storage for 30 years so it will need to be trailered home. Everything needs to be gone through including the brakes, engine/tranny seals, etc. I've installed a new master cylinder, gasket kit on the carb and an aftermarket washer reservior. The water pump leaks but a new one is included with the sale. I've kept the oil changed, drained the gas tank twice and started it every month or two over the years just to keep everything moving. The body needs work in the usual areas for this model but the underbody is good and has the original undercoating. There a few small holes in the trunk floor which you can see in the photo. The front seat needs a new cover and the headliner needs to be replaced. The back seat is original and in good condition and the carpet is decent. Again this is a 45 year old car!
