I personally test drove this vehicle. The engine runs smooth at all speeds with plenty of power. The engine compartment is clean. The car shifts smoothly at all speeds with no problems. The clutch feels good. The car drives straight down the road with no pulling or problems. It has a quiet and smooth ride. There are no leaks or other known problems. There are no dash warning lights on. The tires, brakes and exhaust are all good. Excellent tread on the tires. Subaru All wheel drive is the best in the industry. 2.5L 4-cylinder engine - powerful, but good on gas - Rated at 27mpg Highway. Oil changed and ready to go. This vehicle qualifies for Penn Warranty - See info below... EXTERIOR APPEARANCE: The factory green paint shines new with no ugly rust, dents, or body problems. This vehicle has an excellent finish with just a very few imperfections normal with any used vehicle. There may be some minor paint chips, small dings and light scratches. There is just two small touched up areas near the wheel wells on each side - In the rear -photographed. This is a good looking modern bodied Forester. The 1999 body style is very similar to Foresters as new as 2004. So this has a good modern look. Looks good for a 1999 model,. INTERIOR & COMFORT: The interior of this Forester is comfortable and roomy. There is plenty of leg room and plenty of storage. The seats are clean and comfortable. The dash, trim, and seats are all excellent. Carpets are excellent. Some light wear where the driver's feet rest. This appears to be a non-smoking car. It smells fresh with no evidence of smoking..
