Just consigned from an estate is this rare Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. This car is in stock appearance and is in mostly original factory condition. The car runs and drives and has been used for parades as of last year. The electric convertible top is in working condition but needs a little help getting back up. The few options outfitted are Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Power Top. This rare convertible still has a nice street presence and could be a nice project for someone to restore or just drive as is. She is still solid but needs complete restoration and some attempt was made a few years back to the body to keep her looking presentable. The Body is still nice in appearance with very little visible rust issues. Some minor body work has been performed years back to the rockers and quarter panels. The body work and paint appear to be very stable. Most of the trim is original to the car with right side rocker molding piece missing. Most trim is mildly to heavily pitted and will need to be restored. Convertible top bow is in very nice condition and the top operates smoothly. The top is old but still intact and weathered. The plastic window is in place but is completely opaque. The glass looks good with no major issues. Doors, trunk and hood operate as they should with matching keys. Reverse light assemblies are missing in the bumper. The Interior is the original factory pieces. It’s all there but needs to be restored/replaced due to age mostly. Some of the gauges and controls do not work (radio, wipers, gas gauge due to the fact the tank was replaced with a Grand Marquise tank and sender is not compatible with fuel gauge). All doors, windows, trunk and locks operate as they should. The Drivetrain is original from what I can tell. The motor is a 389ci with automatic transmission. Both units operate smoothly and as expected, no smoke or unusual noises. Both have minor leaks (oil sending unit and tranny pan gasket). Battery will need to be replaced. The Undercarriage is in decent condition. Floors and frame are in decent solid shape. Frame looks great with nothing bent, damaged or repaired. Trunk floor looks good. Trunk drop-offs look nice. One tire is going bad and needs replaced. Other info The current owner has no history or receipts for the car at all. The info provided is as close to accurate as I could find. If you have facts I’ll gladly list them as they come in. The factory jack and all accessories are in the trunk. Trunk liner is in nice condition. Car comes with factory keys, clear Ohio title and Protecto-Plate. Again, no receipts or any kind of documentations / paper work.
