Vehicle Detail

I have what I believe to be a 1957 Cadillac Lido. It had the Cadillac boat company badges on the side and the Cadillac emblems on the back, along with the LIDO emblem on the dash when I bought it. I had the boat soda blasted and rubbed a few dents out. I do not have a title for it. In Tennessee you can get a registration for a boat pre 70's with a bill of sale and picture documentation. I am happy to do all of that if you need a registration to transfer it to your name. I replaced all the magneto and condenser parts under the flywheel, along with the plug wires and the engine runs. I've had it out and hit about 15mph without any mixture tuning and/ or carb rebuilding. I have 3 props for the engine and a manual. I also have a few seals and o rings for the carb to assist in a rebuild. The trailer will need lights and tires. I've pulled it about 100 miles back and forth to work on it but it's tires would be sketchy for a long highway trip. Feel free to ask any questions and I will take any picture angles you are interested in. I have done a fair amount of research on this boat and it's origins but there is a very limited amount of info out there. I think this maybe one of the rarest aluminum boat brands out there. The engine has it's original serial number circular stamped plate and I believe it to be the original motor for this boat. Boat does not leak. The fuel tank holds pressure and the hoses are good. According to the manual for this motor it requires 35:1 gas to oil so that is how I have run it. The evinrude 35hp Lark is a model with pull start and a starter. I have started the motor with the started and pull start. The pull start actually has a compression release on it to ease in the pulling of the motor. When I got it there was one seat back on it so I kept it for a template to build a double backed bench seat for it. Also included is a era correct spot light with dash control, horn, and original front green/red indicator light. I can put wheels on the trailer for you or tires on the rims if you want to use this trailer for transport. You are also welcome to come look at the boat anytime after 4:30pm weekdays. The boat is 5 miles from exit 288 on I40 Cookeville, TN. Great vintage aluminum boat project, I just don't have the time or space.
