1966 Mustang Ca. black plate A GT code convertible BARN FIND UNREAL truly a unbelievable find !!!! tucked away in dry storage a has not seen the light of day for 30 years I believe this Mustang to be as original and rust free as your ever likely to find this is a true survivor !!! the areas of primer seen are not hiding any major damage the previous owner ( of 40 + years ) just had some minor dings repaired, the paint is original and I think with a minimum amount of paint match and a professional polish it would reach a very high standard of survivor quality as its almost a crime to restore this one ( its obvious that after sitting 30 years it will need attention to mechanical systems cooling,brakes etc. I have run the engine for around 1 minute on a auxiliary fuel source it sounds good !!!! the Trans fluid is full with a nice red color and no burnt smell my gut tells me this Mustang won't take much to be back on the road ) however with restoration in mind you start with a good car you end up with a great car !!! lots of so called restored cars out there are pieced together rust and damaged repaired costing thousands just to get to the level of this unrestored Mustang. Im no ford mustang expert but I have been hands on in auto repair and restoration for 40 + years and know enough to identify a good one when I see it.
