Very reluctantly, we are being forced to sell a beautiful 2005 Audi 1.8 with only 78,200 miles. I am selling this car for my daughter, who is the owner with a clear title. She is having medical issues with her lower back, and is finding that driving the 6-speed manual shift, while sporty and fuel efficient, is aggravating her back pain. She has been advised to switch to an automatic transmission. This is the ONLY reason she is parting with a car she has loved and pampered for the last 1 ½ years. This Audi A4 Quattro has been maintained regularly and washed every week (inside and out). She is exceptionally particular (anal?) with the appearance and upkeep of the car. She has the Audi maintenance book completed and stamped as proof of regular servicing, as well as all of the service records and receipts. This car is spotless inside and out, with a couple of exceptions as noted below. As the photos show, this Audi has great curb appeal – a real head-turner – with a rare and attractive combination of a very light blue exterior and black leather interior. It’s considered a sport model. With the turbo, this car has plenty of power and pick-up when you need it. When you don’t, the car quietly purrs along, providing a serene and elegant driving environment. There are no mechanical issues with the car whatsoever. There are some minor dings on the back bumper, which you can see from the photos. Also, the glove compartment lid has had its right hinge repaired. The repair is not noticeable, but makes the opening/closing of the lid a bit stiff. Besides that everything works fine. In fact, she recently had the timing belt and water pump replaced as a preventative maintenance measure, at a cost of over $1,000. Also, the battery is new, and the tires have about 50% tread left on them, according to her Audi mechanic. If you’re in the area, you are welcome to take the car for a test drive and/or to a local mechanic to have it checked out. There is nothing to hide about this car. There was a very minor, front-end low impact collision last year which resulted in the front bumper being cracked, which was then replaced with a perfectly matched new bumper. The reserve is set at a very reasonable price, given the urgency with which the car must be sold.
