I purchased this vehicle almost three years ago and have had great luck with it. The only thing that has broken on me was a turn signal switch, and that was a relatively minor repair. The car's first nine years were spent in Maryland and Virginia, and I have never driven it in inclement weather, so the car is rust free having never seen salt/snow. I had the oil changed and the vehicle inspected this spring and have only put about 300 miles on it since. Late last fall the car got new brakes all around and tires (Continental ExtremeContact) both front and rear. The only issue the car has is the plastic window on the convertible top split last year, and I just put packing tape on to fix it. I rarely drive the car with the top up so it isn't an issue. I have taken it through the car wash and everything is watertight. The car is in great shape and is a pleasure to drive. If I could convince my wife to learn stick-shift I would keeping it.
