For Sale or for parts 1988 Pontiac Firebird GTA, has every option besides t-tops. Great vehicle, pretty rare option car. Engine runs great fires right up every week, Trans was just rebuilt and a shift kit was added. Has B&M shifter mounted in the stock location. Suspension is all done right with adjustable shocks, lowering springs, torque arm, and lower control arms,rear is 3.73. Has a lot of bolt ons, pulleys, injectors, coil, wires, headers, mufflerless exhaust (Sounds great), two different computer chips and all emissions equipment still in place. All the headlight motors were recently replaced and work perfectly. Power windows, mirrors, and locks all work. Digital dash is in perfect working order, with all screens still reading. Hood has been replaced with a lighter fiberglass ram air and is painted to match the car along with a new fiberglass wing. Tires were recently replaced with BFG T/A's and the rims are in fair shape. You could part out this car and get 7500. This car sat under a tree for 7 years and the body has started to rot away. The only reason I am selling is because I don't want to put any more money into it. The floor on the passenger side has rotted away and is now leaking exhaust into the vehicle. I have put a temporary fix in place but needs to have the Y pipe replaced and you can drive it daily as I did. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I have had a few questions on the body....personally I would not use this body of the car but if you know a good body man that can fix the typical f body rot spots then this is a great body. Most of the problems are typical of this car, rear wheel wells rot out and both doors. Also there is a dent in the passenger side fender. The windshield leaks onto the passenger side floor and has rotted away the floor pan. The rest of the car is pretty solid, roof, hatch, bumpers, skirts, and hood are all in new or good shape. The car does need paint after the rust has been fixed, its sun faded in spots and brand new in others. I hope this clears up any questions you have about the body.
