Up for bid is a 1965 Mustang Coupe V8 (now a Resto Mod) which we found in someones yard and it had been sitting there for over 17 years! We knew we had to revive this car and so we performed a Full Restoration...and it looks fantastic!!! It comes with what we believe are the Original Numbers Matching 289 8 Cylinder Engine and Automatic Transmission. Has the center console and rally pack...very desirable options! We test drove this car on Thursday, May 31, 2012 and the car is solid as a rock. Not one rattle! It is tighter than my 2009 BMW I am driving. It feels like a brand new 1965 Mustang! The brakes are solid, the engine is extremely powerful for a 289, the steering is responsive, the suspension is amazing with the upgraded coil overs and new shocks, you wouldn't know this was a 47 year old car. We replaced almost all the bushings in the suspension if not all (sorry its hard to remember everything that was done) of them. I tried to take as many pictures as possible to give the scope of the project. All the body work has been professionally done with all the rust removed and any and all patches have been performed and reinforced. 3 stages of primer have been applied. We sprayed the car with 4 Stages of Pepper Gray base and 4 stages of Clear. That's 11 coats of protection folks! As of 4/10/12:Today we did the interior which included the seat covers, kick plates, package tray, bezels for the instrument cluster, center console (yes the lights at the ends work on the console!), seat belts, carpets, headliner, and yes the light in the glove box works!As of 5/10/12:The car is almost done with just a few more odds and ends to be completed. Up for bid is a 1965 Mustang Coupe V8 (now a Resto Mod) which we found in someones yard and it had been sitting there for over 17 years! We knew we had to revive this car and so we performed a Full Restoration...and it looks fantastic!!! It comes with what we believe are the Original Numbers Matching 289 8 Cylinder Engine and Automatic Transmission. Has the center console and rally pack...very desirable options!
We test drove this car on Thursday, May 31, 2012 and the car is solid as a rock. Not one rattle! It is tighter than my 2009 BMW I am driving. It feels like a brand new 1965 Mustang! The brakes are solid, the engine is extremely powerful for a 289, the steering is responsive, the suspension is amazing with the upgraded coil overs and new shocks, you wouldn't know this was a 47 year old car. We replaced almost all the bushings in the suspension if not all (sorry its hard to remember everything that was done) of them. I tried to take as many pictures as possible to give the scope of the project.

As of 4/4/12:
We removed the old floors and replaced with brand new floor pans and seat risers. All the body work has been professionally done with all the rust removed and any and all patches have been performed and reinforced.
3 stages of primer have been applied. We sprayed the car with 4 Stages of Pepper Gray base and 4 stages of Clear. That's 11 coats of protection folks!
As of 4/10/12:
Today we did the interior which included the seat covers, kick plates, package tray, bezels for the instrument cluster, center console (yes the lights at the ends work on the console!), seat belts, carpets, headliner, and yes the light in the glove box works!

The car is almost done with just a few more odds and ends to be completed.

I am sure we missed something but this should give you an idea of the amount of work that has gone into this car.
This Mustang is now in immaculate condition! This Mustang has new front and rear brakes, we replaced the older 4 Barrel Carb with a newer Edelbrock 4 Barrel, which is an upgrade from the factory 2 BBL carb. We replaced the exhaust with a High Performance Dual Exhaust with H Pipe.

In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller (Newton Motorcars, LLC) a Deposit in the amount of $500 via PayPal, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by cash in person, or bank certified funds to Seller (we reserve the right to hold the vehicle until we can confirm funds are good). At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License to (732-387-5410 fax). Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
All vehicles subject to a Doc / Prep / Svc Fee (yes Dealers too) of $349.50 which is a fee charged by the Dealer in an amount that covers costs and reflects the value of the benefit provided by the service. In some cases, the fee includes some services that may be optional or may be performed by the Customer.
Finally, Newton Motorcars, LLC will not release a vehicle until funds have cleared our bank account. However if you are paying with cash, the vehicle will be released. Any and all fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
