This vehicle is being re-listed because cash in person was not indicated to protect both me, the seller, and whoever buys, the buyer, was not specifically indicated in the original posting. This is a 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente set up to be an A/FX nostalgic racer set up for an FE motor. But, it can also be completed to be street legal. It has a fiberglass hood, trunk lid, front fenders and front bumper which are all Crites items. It has the original doors with glass and the original rear bumper. The suspension has Crites traction bars and sub frame connectors installed in addition to Crites rear leaf spring relocation kit installed with a period correct 1959 Thunderbird rear housing with axles. The front suspension has Ford Granada front disc brakes. New trunk mount A/FX style battery box. All original side chrome, windshield, door/window crank handles are included. The interior does not have the front or rear seats but it does have the door panels and a fiberglass transmission hump. Additional stock parts such as grill, headlight buckets etc. along with Mercury Shop Manual and other reference resources are included with vehicle which is sold as is.
