Vehicle Detail

Pair of 1982 ATC 185s This Auction is for two 185cc three wheelers. I changed oil, cleaned carburetors, replaced fuel tanks and front brake cables a year ago. When family came to visit last summer, they were only ridden a couple of hours, then sat the rest of the year. Since we moved from the desert, they just don't get ridden. Time for them to find a new home. I put fresh gas in them today, and gave them a little shot of starting fluid and they started right up. They both run great and are fun to ride. They both have decent tires, although a couple of them go low over a period of a few days. They even still have their tool kits strapped under the bodies. The rear brake hand lever cables are stuck on both of them, but I never bothered to replace them because the foot pedal for the rear brakes work just fine. The tail lights don't work on either of them, and the head light on one. Both seats could use new covers as well. I have clear titles for both of them. They are both "Non-Opped", so there are no past due fees. Now for some specifics: We'll go by the last three digits of the serial numbers. The first one is 433, the one I've had the longest. I bought it from a guy who owned a motorcycle shop years ago and he had tuned it up so that it runs better than other ATC185's. Not sure what he did, but we used to call this one "The Beast". It has lots of torque, and will pull wheelies in three gears if you hit it just right. It still has the proper spark arrester, so should be safe in fire hazard areas. It does, however, smoke slightly on hard acceleration. When the starter cord broke, I replaced it and had to make a new handle. It sometimes takes a little more effort to start than stock, but works well nonetheless. See Pictures: The other ATC is 142, which also runs great, but not quite as fast as "The Beast". It does, however, have a square hitch receiver if you want to pull a trailer. It also sports a small rack on the front for hauling things around. It was very handy for a quick run to the mini-mart when I lived in the desert. Not so handy now that I am in the Tehachapi suburbs. I had to add a spark arrester to this one, so it would comply with fire regulations. It looks a little different than the stock one, but works fine. See Pictures: I have represented these items to the best of my knowledge, they are being sold in AS-IS condition, so bid accordingly. These are 30 YEAR OLD VEHICLES! No guarantees are expressed or implied! Please be sure all your questions are answered before bidding. Please be honest in your emails when corresponding with me, I will do the same. Buyer to pay within 7 days of auction end, unless other arrangements have been made PRIOR to bidding.
