Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2003 Saab 9-3. It has been very well-maintained (I have receipts for maintenance). I am a car person and have always done a great job maintaining it, but a change in my life forces the sale. The car may be inspected locally (Grand Rapids, MI) and is available for test drives. NO RESERVE. I have owned the car since about 83,000 miles. It has been a very good car and has never left me stranded. FEATURES: Leather 5-speed Heated front seats After-market DDM HID headlights with direct-wire harness and error-code eliminators REGULAR MAINTENANCE: Regularly serviced with Mobil 1 Synthetic (have receipts) 90k maintenance (including fluid flushes, etc) (6/2010) 120k maintenance (7/2011) DUE: 150k maintenance (simple oil, spark plugs, etc).PARTIAL LIST OF REPAIRS: Rear brakes (including rotors and calipers) (6/2012) ECU re-programmed for 2 new keys (1/2011) Cabin fan blower resistor (6/2010) Front strut bearings replaced (11/10) New battery (8/30/2010) Front brakes (rotors and pads) (6/2010) Check valve and vacuum lines replaced (8/2009)KNOWN ISSUES: Intermittent failure for central locking - passenger door (common problem due to door latch that requires the manual locking of the door. Easily fixed by replacing door latch) CD Player does not work (radio works just fine)On Jun-04-12 at 12:10:35 PDT, seller added the following information: 6/4/12 Edit: Low Reserve (no "no reserve") One more issue: since I have owned the car (2009), it has had a failed SAI pump (secondary air pump). Those who know this model Saab know that it's a superfluous system that Saab eliminated in the 2004 model year. It does not cause any issues, nor is it important at all, but I want to disclose it. On Jun-04-12 at 17:51:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve lowered! On Jun-05-12 at 16:24:57 PDT, seller added the following information: 6/5/12 *New tie-rod ends*. I noticed the steering getting a bit lose, so I replaced the tie-rods. Steering is back to normal.
