An exceptional example of the vintage and model. This car is in excellent shape, both mechanically and cosmetically, with no rust. The car has 82K original miles. At 70K miles I had the top end of the engine done to address “smoking” issues notorious with this vintage due to “soft” valve guides. At that time, a new clutch was also installed. A new alternator was installed a year ago to address a noisy bearing. The engine doesn’t leak even a single drop of oil. The car has been rock solid reliable for the 13 years I have owned it. The original Fuchs wheels have been reconditioned, and new carpet and interior seat leather installed. The Targa top is in excellent shape, rarely stored folded. There are no known mechanical issues with this car. The interior is in excellent shape. It has a Momo steering wheel, but I have the original. The car was in a slight accident before I owned it (right rear corner), but it is near impossible to tell that the body work or paint are not original. If you want a great car, in great shape, that requires nothing, this is it.
