POWER WINDOWS. POWER BRAKES. FOLD DOWN REAR SEAT. REAR ASHTRAY LIGHT. ORIGINAL AM RADIO WORKS GREAT. RALLY II – W/GOOD YEAR EAGLE ST – 245/60 14. POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP. CURRENTLY IS MANUAL OPEN/CLOSE. IT NEEDS A NEW PUMP – AVAILABLE FOR A COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS ON THE INTERLINK. POWER TRUNK RELEASE ADDED. CUSTOM ‘INDIAN HEAD’ FLOOR MATS. RETRACTABLE FRONT SEAT BELTS WITH CONSOLE RETAINER CLIPS. TILT STEERING ADDED. COMPLETE NEW FLOWMASTER EXHAUST. THE SOUND IS LEGENDARY. THE EDELBROCK INTAKE AND CARB COMBO ARE ONLY ADDED TWO YEARS AGO. THIS SET UP PERFORMS GREAT, STARTS ARE INCREDIBLY MORE PREDICTABLE, AND THE RESPONSIVENESS IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY TO THE ORIGINAL [I WISH I’D DONE THIS THE YEAR I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE, BUT I WAS PUTTING IT IN MORE CAR SHOWS AND WANTED TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL LOOK]. IT IS CURRENTLY JETTED AND TUNED MORE FOR MILEAGE, BUT IT’S STILL VERY POWERFUL COMBINATION. FULL CARB KIT INCLUDED FOR YOUR OWN DESIRES WITH CARB CONFIGURATION. THE JETS ARE CHANGEABLE IN MINUTES. THE PONTIAC INTAKE AND 4-BARREL CARB THAT WERE REPLACED ARE INDLUDED IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE BACK. ELECTRONIC IGNITION ADDED IS A PERTRONIX FLAME THROWER. THE TIMING CURVE IS CURRENTLY SET UP WITH SLIGHTLY LIGHTER SPRINGS TO ALLOW SOME QUICKER TIMING ADVANCE AT LOWER RPM AND FULL TIMING IS ALL IN ABOUT 2800RPM. THE INCLUDED KIT ALLOWS FOR FULL ALTERATION OF ADJUSTING THE TIMING CURVE AND THE ADJUSTABLE VACUUM ADVANCE TO YOUR DESIRED PREFERENCE. NEW TRACTION BAR BUSHINGS WERE PUT IN ONLY A YEAR AGO. HEAVY DUTY FRONT SWAY BAR ADDED WITH PERFORMANCE SHOCKS ALL AROUND. THIS REALLY IMPROVED THE HANDLING AND CORNERING OF THE CAR. CARPET AND CUSTOM FLOOR MATS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. THE INTERIOR IS THE DELUXE STYLE. IT IS MOSTLY IN AN UN-RESTORED CONDITION. YOU WILL NOTICE FROM THE PICTURES THAT IN A COUPLE AREAS THERE ARE SMALL SEPARATIONS IN THE SEAM STITCHING. A FULL SET OF CHROME GAUGES WERE ADDED IN FRONT OF THE CENTER CONSOLE. OIL AND TEMP SENDING UNITS ARE STILL WIRED INTO FACTORY DASHBOARD INDICATORS. THE OVERALL APPEARANCE AND PAINT IS VERY NICE. THE PAINT JOB IS 12 YEARS OLD. IT’S GOT MINOR CHIPS FROM ROAD ON LOWER HALF OF PANELS, AND ONE NEAR PASSENGER DOOR HINGE. THE PICTURES SHOW THEM UP CLOSE – FROM 10 FEET THEY GO UNNOTICED. EVERY PIECE OF WEATHERSTRIPPING IS NEW, EVEN THE VENT WINDOWS. SINCE THE CAR SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN HOT/DRY SOUTHWEST SUMMERS, I THOUGHT THE WEATHERSTRIPPING HAD LOST MOST OF ITS PLASTICIZER AND SHOULD BE REPLACED. IT’S REALLY NICE TO SEE AND FEEL THE NEW FUZZIES ON THE DOOR WINDOW WEATHERSTRIPPING WHEN YOU HAVE THE WINDOW DOWN. I HOPE I’VE TAKEN ADEQUATE AND REVEALING ENOUGH PICTURES FOR THE FULL DISCLOSURE OF THE CAR’S COMMENDABLE CONDITION. I’VE ADDED SOME NOTES BELOW FOR SMALL ITEMS ON THE CAR THAT SHOULD NOT BE A SURPRISE TO THE NEW OWNER AND ARE NOT REVEALED IN PICTURES. PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS. THE HEATER DAMPER CONTROL IS STUCK ON COLD TEMPERATURE LIKELY DUE TO IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED. THE CAR CAME FROM NEVADA AND I’VE NEVER DRIVEN IT IN COLD WEATHER. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HEATER CORE, ONLY THE DAMPER POSITION CONTROL. THE TRANNY HAS A SMALL FLUID LEAK NEAR SHIFT LINKAGE SEAL- ~1/2 CUP PER YEAR [SUMMER AND WINTER INCLUDED]. I DROVE THE CAR TO WORK TODAY AND NOTICED THE LEFT FRONT BRAKE WHEEL CYCLINDER IS A LITTLE STICKY. I’D RECOMMEND A NEW ONE OR HONE IT AND REBUILD IT. THE ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS JUST FINE – AS DO THE DASH LIGHTS, ETC. THE MILEAGE READS 05080. I HAVE PUT APPROXIMATELY 500 – 750 MILES PER YEAR ON THE CAR SINCE THEN. HOOD TACH IS FUNCTIONAL, BUT INTERMITTENTLY. I SUSPECT THE OLD TACH IS GETTING TIRED, AS IT WORKS SOMETIMES, AND NOT OTHERS – IT COULD LIKELY BE JUST A CONNECTOR PROBLEM AS THERE IS AN ORIGINAL ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR BETWEEN THE TACH AND THE DISTRIBUTOR. THESE HOOD TACHS ARE A BIG DRAW FOR CONVERSATION. THEY JUST HAVE ‘COOL’ WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. _____________________________________________________________________________________ THIS CAR HAS BEEN MY THIRD MUSCLE CAR SINCE 1985. IT HAS BEEN USED ONLY FOR DATE NIGHTS/WKNDS FOR MY WIFE AND I, OR AN OCCASIONAL AFTERNOON DRIVE WITH THE KIDS ALONG. I SPENT 3 YEARS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR AND SOLD TWO TO BUY ONE WHEN I PURCHASED THIS CAR. I’VE ALSO HAD THE CAR IN A HANDFUL OF CAR SHOWS AND WON SEVERAL TROPHIES. THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN MINNESOTA FOR THE LAST TWELVE YEARS OF ITS LIFE. IT CAME FROM NEVADA AND HAS NEVER SEEN THE LIKES OF MN WEATHER. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY STORED IN A HEATED FLOOR BUILDING YEAR ROUND AND ONLY DRIVEN IN THE SUMMER ON NICE DAYS. THE CONDITION OF THIS CAR IS INCREDIBLY NOTEWORTHY. IT’S OBVIOUS WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE FLOORBOARDS AND CAN SEE THEIR CONDITION – SOLID, SOLID, SOLID.
