Car was purchased at Majestic Pontiac in Los Angeles and has stayed in So. California it’s whole life. It was ordered in the very rare Quezal Gold metallic with black interior. Quezal gold was popular on the GTO’s, but very rare on the Grand Prix… Car was ordered with many upgrades including: Factory dual exhaust WS-3 400 V8 3:08 Limited slip diff. Deluxe SJ interior Rally wheels Heavy duty brakes and cooling Heavy duty suspension Optional black interior (not standard color coded) Interior light group Very, very rare “rally” clock Tilt wheel Power door locks Soft ray glass with internal antenna This Pontiac has had some major service lately including: Rebuilt quadrajet, new belts, points, fuel filter, oil and filter change, transmission service, cooling system flush and new coolant, newer HD radiator, new engine and trans. Mounts, radiator cap, newer shocks, new reproduction carpet kit, etc. The car runs and drives very well and would make a great daily cruiser. She has a beautiful exhaust note and when you ask for passing power, she responds instantly. The A/C needs charged, but the compressor comes on and cools a little. Nice, clean body with one repaint in a color close to the original, but appears darker. Will need some major rust repair under the vinyl top area and a couple of other small spots, but the lower body, floor pans, etc are perfect. The chassis is very clean indicating that she was never a leaker or abused. A very clean So. California chassis. Great suspension with a nice, smooth ride. Tires are near new and well balanced. I have personally driven this car many miles on the freeways and I can tell you that she is tight, solid and confident even at 75 miles an hour. Comes with the original rally spare, jack, and lug wrench. Very nice trunk with full deluxe carpet and spare cover. The interior is very neat and tidy with new carpet and insulation. The seats are very nice to near perfect. Great headliner and door panels. The dash has a few sun cracks. Nice gauges and switches. Has a very nice console and shifter. All in all, a very pleasing interior to ride in. Aftermarket radio that has a mind of it’s own, but since it is old, they didn’t cut the dash to install it. All in all, a presentable, original So.
