Vehicle Detail
The interior is in great shape, with no cracks in the dash, tears in the leather, or damage anywhere. The driver's seat shows wear (stretched), but isn't cracked or torn up like some I've seen. The exterior is in good shape, with only a small crack in the driver's rear corner cladding. There's a pic of it in the photobucket link. As for mods, mostly reliability or safety stuff. I rebuilt the front suspension/steering last year, using polygraphite bushings. New inner/outer tie-rod ends, idler arm, and pitman arm to go with rebuilt steering box, p/s pump and new lines. I've replaced the stock steering shaft with a solid one from a Jeep, to eliminate the rag-joint. The lower control arms and spindles have been replaced w/ parts from a 2000 Blazer. Now the truck has larger rotors and dual piston calipers from the same truck. Also installed a ZQ8 rear sway bar at the same time. Fabricated an aluminum scoop for the lower heat exchanger, hotwired the upgraded Johnson intercooler pump. I replaced the metal intercooler lines with heater hose as well. The truck is running a 3-bar tune on code $59, with no EGR. A PLX wideband has been wired into the ECM, and the ECM has been relocated to the glovebox while I adjust the tune with an Ostrich 2.0 emulater. I ported the wastegate on the turbo, and modified the stock downpipe to match. I installed a Accufab adjustable fuel pressure regulater, running about 48 psi.
