Relisted With NO RESERVE this time. One bid and it's sold. Rear seats not in car but included with auction (needs recovering) Also found original window sticker in fair shape!! If you are seriously considering this car don't wait a week into the auction to wish you had just hit the "buy it now" button. This is a fresh barn find 1964 Pontiac Tempest Sport Coupe that was liberated from its hiding place earlier today. Car is rusty in the typical GM a body places but is in pretty good shape and complete overall. I will let the pictures do most of the talking. After a little tinkering tonight, the engine fired up and ran but smokes pretty good. Transmission had good fluid in it but did not pull car when placed in gear. This car was originally Silver Mist gray with a blue cloth/vinyl interior. Car rolls easily and brakes are not locked up. Was able to stop car with the parking brakes. This should be easy to load onto your trailer. Frame is in good shape with only surface rust seen, no rot. Floorpans are not totally shot but do have some rust through and could be patched. Floor pan under rear seat is in excellent condition. Truck floor is amazingly solid with surface rust and a few small rust through holes. Both front fenders need lower patch panels. Core support is in great shape. Hood has rust around leading edge and down sides. Passenger quarter is solid. Driver quarter has some rust through behind rear wheel. Trunk lid has some rust through on bottom edge. Bumpers are in pretty good shape but the chrome is peeling off pretty good. Grille is in good shape and could easily be straightened in places. All glass is in great shape with only a little bubbling on the bottom of the windshield. The dash is NOT rusted out. The cowl is solid. Some rust through in back glass channel. If you are looking at this you probably don't care about the 215 6 cylinder and 2 speed powerglide but they are in the car. This would be a good starting point to create a GTO look and style without the GTO price. I have seen cars in much much worse shape brough back to life. Rear seats are out of car but interior will need a total restoration. The rear seat cores will be included, just not pictured in the auction. Dash is solid with NO holes cut for aftermarket gauges or a radio.
