Vehicle Detail
1930 Ford fresh from storage. This car has set inside a garage since 1988. The car has a decent interior probably done in the early 80’s, real tuck-n-roll in a medium blue vinyl. The car does have a rumble seat and a functions as such, however it seems to have a normal trunk lid (handle at bottom, which is missing). With a new set of points installed this car started right up. It runs smooth, shifts through all the gears, and the brakes function just fine. An inspection of one wheel showed a good pair of pads on the brakes. The body is in good shape and complete except for the running boards, which are missing. The car has rust in all the normal areas, lower cowl, lower rear fenders, lower trunk lid, lower rear valance, and small sections behind the rear glass at the seams. Rear glass, and side glass all good, but the windshield has a crack top to bottom on the drivers side. The wooden floor is also missing. The wood frame work inside the car seems to be in good condition. An aluminum panel has been attached to the top of the roof using small brass screws, It was screwed into the wooden frame work around the roof. Both door open and close nicely. The car seems to have been primered and painted orange at one point and later dark blue was sprayed directly over the orange. The car comes with 5 wire wheels with hub caps, and new rear lower corners for behind wheels/trunk. We were told this car originally came from California, which is why is has a California plate. What you see is what you get, a running 1930 ford with a nice patina to drive as is or turn into you dream hot rod. The car comes with a clear WV title. A $500 deposit will be due within 24 hours of purchase. Shipping will be the responsibility of the purchaser, we can help load it. Since it runs it will lower the cost of shipping but please check shipping cost before you bid, it can be expensive. The car will be stored in a garage until picked up.On May-13-12 at 11:33:18 PDT, seller added the following information:You can see video of the car running on Youtube just search: 1930 Ford 01; 1930 Ford 02; 1930 Ford 03.
