Welcome to our, “Low Reserve", auction for this Mercedes-Benz 280SE (W116) sedan classic car collectible. A unique and rare classic. This vehicle starts right up and runs and drives strong and powerful. This car is responsible for the great reputation of Mercedes. The miles read 144,156 as of this post. Well maintained and cared for, this 1977 Mercedes-Benz 280SE, is a great ride. This car is reliable and reasonably fast. I planted myself behind the steering wheel and enjoyed the surprisingly comfortable, incredible, condition, tan, interior. Looks so nice inside. One very minor dash crack in the corner, hardly noticeable, looks super overall. This being one of the best Mercedes-Benz cars ever built, The 6-cylinder, 2.8L, gasoline, engine feels smooth and when driving and the, automatic, transmission shifts positive. Features, chrome bumpers, MB Quartz speakers, manual clock, fog lights, power antenna, Ichibahn aluminized pedal covers, rubber and carpet trunk mats, Alpine amplifier, 2.8L 6-cylinder gas engine, cruise control(not operating at this time, may be something simple to repair), wood grain accents, working, cool, not ice cold, A/C, wonderful interior, 14" wheels, Alpine CD player stereo, and much more! I took some pics to document the undercarriage and condition of this 35 year old vehicle. The air conditioning is cool and the tires have plenty of rubber left as you can see in our detailed pictures. The, "Silver", exterior is in good shape overall and shows some previous body repair. Purchasing this, pre-owned, vehicle makes good financial sense. You're able to avoid the steep depreciation rates that occur with brand new vehicles.
