You are bidding on a 1981 Toyota Diesel Pickup in good running condition This truck is a fuel saver and has a very reliable engine.  After sitting for 2 weeks the truck started up after the second try.  The diesel engine smokes as all do on start up but runs clean after a few minutes of warming up.  The picture below of the tailpipe shows the exhaust emitting normal amounts of smoke after five minutes of running the engine.  The master cylinder has recently been replaced.  Other than that the truck has not had any maintenance done by myself.  The title is clear without any salvage or rebuild branding.  The title is also in hand and in the seller's name.  The picture of the engine below shows very little blow-by of the engine.  This truck has a little noise in all gears of the transmission.  The truck has very little rust as can be seen in the pictures.   Steering column plastic cover can be seen in the pictures to have cracks and missing pieces.  Does not affect functionality.  The dash board also has some cracks.  A speaker receiving hole has been cut out in the driver side door only.  The stereo is missing.  The center console is aftermarket and functions very well.   This truck recently passed inspection at the beginning of April, 2012 in the State of Utah.  The State of Utah does not require an emission inspection for this type of vehicle.   Please note that the truck can be picked up or the buyer can arrange shipping.  Seller can pick up the buyer at the airport of Salt Lake International Airport if desired.  Payment must be received as outlined in the payment details section of this listing.  Seller reserves the right to sell the vehicle locally before the auction ends.  There are no refunds so please complete due diligence before bidding.  The vehicle must be picked up within 2 weeks of the end of the auction.  Full payment must be received before pickup according to the payment details.   Overall a very good truck and very rare.
