1970 Ford E-Series Van

This all original 1970 Ford had been sitting behind a warehouse in Burbank Ca, for many years and was given to me in return for work. The gentlemen that owned it passed away in 1996 and I was told he did not have friend's or family here. (he was from Canada). So the title to it is lost and I was given a signed Affidavit for Transfer Without Probate California Titled Vehicle on 8/31/11 by owner of the company where he worked that I will give to the buyer. Buyer will be responsible for registration. The van was last registered in 2002. So in order to register it in California DMV want's approximately $750 in penalties. I have a 1968 Econoline that you can see in one of the pictures which I was going to use the part's from this van. But it's too nice to part out I think. Reason why I'm listing this van on E-bay is... The van is all original and I beleive the 113 thousand miles are too. It was bought locally in California at Galpin Ford In Van Nuys, Runs and drives very nice and smooth and four new tires that I had installed for $350. The van is just weathered from sitting outside for years. It would be ashame to take this complete original vehicle apart just to use some of it's part's. When it can be restored. I figure an out of state buyer would not have to pay such high fee's to register it. But I'm not to sure. The van is very reliable and can be driven anywhere. All it needs mechanicly is rear wheel brake cylinder which is leaking if it sit's for a while. Van stop's, with two pumps of the brake pedal though. The two front seat's need to be reapholstered. The body is accident free other than the brusies in the pictures. Or drive as is for work. I am making an atempt to see if there is anyone in this state or another interested in restoring this van and registering it. It's a shame... but I know it would be worth more to part it out. Please keep in mind vehicle will only come with an DMV Affidavit form. The rest of the registration proccess is buyer's responsibility.
