1979Ford MustangIndianapolis 500 Pace Car This is a very rare, low mileage car in original condition. This 5.0 - 302 V8 / 4 speed manual transmission Mustang is 1 of only 2,402 Indy 500 Pace Cars built and only has 11,102 original miles on it. It is as original as it comes including engine, transmission, interior, and paint. The 4 speed transmission makes the car fun to drive and actually more collectible as manual shift V8's were quite rare. Inside the interior basically looks new. The Recaro seats are a neat feature and were part of the pace car package. All gauges, sound system etc are left alone and stock. Under the hood you will find the motor to be stock as well. It is mechanically sound and can be trusted to be driven anywhere. It still handles and feels tight like a new car. Always garage kept, this car is super nice in and out.
