1987 Porsche 944 S. Twin cam, 16 valve, 2.5 L engine and 5 speed transmission. Really nice condition and currently Pa. inspected. This car was originally sold in Florida and I purchased it from Georgia. It has no rust. I've replaced a rear brake caliper, steering rack, tie rods and tie rod ends, alternator, battery, stainless steel Magna Flow muffler and 3 1/2" stainless steel Magna Flow Tip, front and rear brakes and the oil pressure sending unit K&N air filter and new spark plugs. All service has been done professionally including the exhaust which was tig welded prior to installation. Oil and Filter were just changed during the install of the new oil pressure sending unit. Car runs excellent, shifts smooth and handles and stops like a race car. Power windows and moon roof work perfectly. Interior is black leather and is in overall good condition. The dash has some small cracks in the top, which is typical of these cars and I have shown them in the pictures. I have a Porsche 944 specific cover for the top of the dash that works very well which I leave on all the time. The rear seat is perfect and the driver's front seat has some wear on the outside bolster with a tear in the leather, which is to be expected in a car that is 25 years old. Front seats have Porsche 944 specific seat covers installed, which I leave on. Original radio was replaced with a Pioneer system and sounds great. Of all the cars I've owned this is probably the most fun to drive. The Porsche 944S models were only made in 1987-88. They are much rarer than the standard 944. Only a little over 5000 were imported to the US. Fuel mileage is 19-20 city and 28 highway. I have the records that came with the car and all of the records of the work done here. I do not know when the timing belt was changed since I can't find a receipt for it. We have inspected it and it appears in great condition. I believe it has been changed due to the fact that the cam cover and intake have been off and painted as you will note in the pictures, but as noted I don't have the record of it.
