1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Up for auction is this hard to find 1966 Ford Fairlane 500, 2 door coupe. This car is equipped with a fuel injected 5.0 liter 302 engine, combined with an AOD transmission, both with 30k miles on them. Car has a nodular 9” rear with 391 gears. Power steering, power disc brake conversion from Granada. Has new 17” cobra replica wheels, 8” wide on front and 9” wide on back with good tires. Has new brakes, new brake cables, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new water pump, new alternator, and new starter, new shocks. Exhaust is true dual with H-Pipe. Interior has newer seat covers and custom steering wheel, and a floor shifter with newer carpet. Also has am/fm CD player installed. Car has solid frame and trunk panels, the floor has been patched and the ¼’s have been repaired with metal and minimal filler. Some of the trim and emblems were replaced when the car was painted. This car shows well and drives good, this is not a 100 point factory restoration, but it is a fun car for cruising, gets looks every time.
