Vehicle Detail

This rare 1959-ish NSU Prinz wears original white paint as well as the original seats, front and rear. It has all its trim/emblems, original jack and handle, lighting, original as well as 4 hubcaps. The engine is incomplete, currently has a VW Solex carb equipped, It has rust damage on the passenger side sill from the rear corner nearly to the front, the floor is separated from the sill, which itself has internal and external damage. There seems to be no other significant rust damage. The brakes are disconnected, and suspected to have bad master/wheel cylinders and all flex lines. It has the original body color wheels. The oil in the engine/gearbox is clean, though I haven't tried to start it. The handbrake works perfectly. All of the glass is equipped, it has the optional rear wing windows. It looks to have a Sport Prinz 100mph speedometer on it, so I am not sure about the mileage. All the parts pictured are included. The current engine's VIN doesn't match the body. Note that this is a basic car with all the trim, there are some parts included, but would need quite a few things to be a complete car, but its definitely a good car to receive the complete bits from a rotted but otherwise mostly complete Prinz. Car is sold with Bill of Sale only, it does not have license plates either. I'm not sure of the actual year of this Prinz as its not mentioned on the ID plate, any information on that would be much appreciated! On May-01-12 at 19:32:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The seats are in decent shape, there is a triangular section of the driver's side seat missing from when it was transported, as well as some tiny tears from having something rough sat on it in the decades of storage, but the passenger and rear seats are untorn. The fuel tank is good and does not leak. There are no keys for the car, the locks seem all servicable though. I have included the rest of the interior cover panels as well as the driver side map/door pocket. 4 hubcaps in variable condition are also included. A radio blanking plate is included, though a mounting tab is broken on it so it would have to be attached creatively. There is a vintage NSU Enthusiasts USA sticker on the back. The battery tray section of the rear floor is solid, though as mentioned earlier, the floor/sill seam is rusted apart from the C pillar area nearly to the A Pillar area, and the outer sill sheet metal has some rust through. There are various little bits missing on the car, but its a great recipient shell for parts!
