Vehicle Detail
This is a clean nicely kept Del-sol that has the original 93k miles on it with a clear title. I bought this car after it had been sitting in my relations driveway. The car stayed there for approx a year and needed some attention. I bought it and had it cleaned from top to bottom. When I bought the car it had 87k miles on it. I put 6000 great miles on it, and had wanted to keep it for my son. He doesn't want the car, he wants a truck. I think he's crazy, but kids today have different tastes than when I was growing up. I have been the only driver and have taken very good care of it. The V-tech motor runs strong, transmission (although automatic) works like new, and has a great response. It has all the power features which include windows, door locks, except power seats, which I never really liked anyhow. It has cruise control. It's a great car for a sunny day. Take the top off and put the rear window down and you have a great way to travel without messing up your hair, or so my wife sais. I have recently replaced the exhaust from the manifold back. Manifold is still original and in good shape. The wheels are not original, but matched the personality of the car. Tires are like new with 90% life, and all brake pads have been replaced, including new rear calipers. Seats have no tears or burns in them. Carpet is in good condition for the years. Dash and all upholstery are in excellent condition, with no cracks, tears, or imperfections. I had a stone chip/crack in the windshield, so I replaced it. The radio (although original) works perfectly, and added were a 6 disk CD changer in the trunk with and amplifier, and a sub woofer built in right behind both seats. The quality is crisp and loud, if that's what you're into. The body is in great shape with 2 or 3 small scratches. No dings that I can see. I replaced the headlights and tail lights, as the old ones were pretty dull. The only thing that I would see needing replacement, and I haven't got to yet, is the rear struts. Although they are not shot, the ride could be better. There are no check engine lights, and the consol is fully functional. The car gets upword of 34 to 35 MPG on a daily basis, and not much less in the city. Fluids are changed on a routine basis and checked weekly. This would be a great car for a young person, as they are real eye catchers. I'm a bit older and still enjoy the feel of a great handling sports car on a sunny day, cruising the back roads with the top off and the windows down. Call me old fashioned, but it gets my blood pumping. Muscle cars are nice, but who needs the high gas bills. Please look at all the pictures and make a decision for yourself. If you're local, please feel free to call me and come look at it. My number is 570-527-4844, and I live in Schuylkill Haven, PA..
